Good day as a chronic patient who has diabetes and is on the diabetes care discovery medical aid which is not cheap and neither am I on a low package is refusing to pay for my diabetes injection which cost 1600 per month excluding the big amount of medical aid that is being paid.I call in and the consultant can answer my question because they can see only what the rejection response is.I know discovery medical aid is ripping customers off. It this is to far if they cannot assist a patient with chronic medical care what is the use of medical aid ? I would like to find other discovery patients with the same problem I think it's about time we stand up an get what we paid for.After a post like this a chronic consultant calls me to inform me how they still cannot assist me with the payment of my injection even after telling them to call me with a solution.they then sent an email stating they cannot pay for this injection an I should get my doc to call them after getting an motivation letter from the doctor,and I'm sure discovery is aware of every doctor visit there is payment that is needed.Discovery I am tired of the back an forth phone called with still no end result,I asked for a solution an am insisting I get one.
