Defence posting members beware. I was driving to the airport when I got a call to say my dog never boarded the aircraft over two hours prior. The reason they were now calling me was to find out if they could put her on a late night flight. She had been scheduled for another flight in the afternoon but was apparently cancelled. This all happened and I was not informed. My dog was picked up from a boarding kennel at 8am, I was not updated until multiple phone calls resulted in a photo of her at 8 pm. In this time she had been transported in a crate via a car to the airport and left there only to not be boarded on the plane. She was then left waiting around for the next flight which cancelled cargo. The lady told me she was back in their kennels and they would send me a photo of her at 3 pm. I got nothing until I called again to find out if she boarded the next flight and what was happening. My family was completely distressed. When I picked up my dog at 10:45 pm after a huge day for her, she was completely terrified. Considering I bought the bronze package, I honestly expected better Service. Each person who answered the phone had a different excuse for why they weren’t telling me what was happening with my pet. The service was absolutely appalling and I can’t even begin to imagine what my dog went through. I will never use them again and will not recommend them to any Defence serving member. In fact I will do the opposite and be sure to advise everyone not to use them.They definitely did not attempt to contact me and that is a lie. It would be great to see that evidence.
