This complaint is about store #4177. From the moment you walk in the store it was a very uncomfortable feeling. The manager that was not wearing a name tag was having personal work related inappropriate conversation with another associate that was very loud and everyone in the store can here. When a customer was ready to check out you could tell that the customer was upset by her experience in the store, she ask the associate if they had any of a certain product, the associate asked the manager and she dismissively just said no when ask when they are going to get more, once again dismissively said I don't know. The customer was very wrong and called her out of name, but to be quite honest I was thinking it too,but I wouldn't say it. She told the lady to leave and as she was gathering her things and child to leave, she just kept yelling to leave and don't forget your child. Well now that just made everything worst because now the conversation was about she was ready to fight the customer. So when it was my turn to check out. I kindly ask for the corporate number the associate ask me why, I said I had my own reasons she then called the manager, she ask why and just said I needed the number well she conveniently did not know the number. So I said to her if I could suggest something to her in private, she said no you could say it right here very loudly. I told her that the customer was out of line, but that it was not without provocation. Her reply was again very loud that is the way she is and that she is not going to apologise for the way she talks and what she talks about in the workplace. Just because it's a dollar tree it is not a reason behave in that manner. This manager need to take course on workplace environment and customer services.
