Review Time
o,
Thank you for your response.
My Domestika Plus subscription was automatically renewed today (less than 15 minutes before I contacted you), and I did not intend to renew it.
I have not used the subscription after the renewal, and I am requesting an immediate cancellation and a full refund of the charged amount.
As I am from European Union (France), I would also like to invoke my 14-day right of withdrawal under EU consumer protection law, as this renewal was processed automatically and I contacted you immediately without using the service.
Please process the refund as soon as possible and confirm the cancellation of the subscription to prevent any further charges.
Thank you for your understanding and prompt assistance.
Kind regards,

Today I was charged $562.61 AUD by DOMESTIKA INC SAN FRANCISCO USA from my bank account. I have not made any recent purchases, and I certainly did not buy any course or subscription for that amount.
When I checked my account, I saw that a Domestika Plus subscription appears to be active. However, I never signed up for or authorized this membership. In fact, I did not even use my computer on the day the charge was made, so I have no idea how this transaction occurred.
I only became aware of the issue because my bank alerted me to the charge. This is clearly an unauthorized transaction, and I have formally requested a full refund.
This situation is very concerning from a security standpoint. No company should process a charge without the account holder’s explicit authorization. As a result, I had to block my card and request a new one, which has seriously affected my trust in this platform.
I hope this issue is resolved promptly, as this experience has been extremely disappointing and stressful.
SCAM ALERT: This service scams people into plus subscriptions without intent and then they would keep charging without prior notices every year. The sad thing is that PayPal enables them to do such a scam because they "technically" charged you accurately. There's a potential class action cooking if any good lawyers want to pursue.
SCAMERS!!!
They will charge you behind your back for hundreds of dollars and there is no way on earth to get your money back, seams more like a criminal organization than a legal company to me
Dear Respected Team,
I am writing to formally request a refund for the Plus subscription that was charged without my consent. As I am an elderly individual, I am unable to utilize the services on the Domestika site, and I did not authorize this subscription.
I have already filed a complaint with my bank and Domestika regarding this unauthorized charge. I kindly request that you process the refund promptly and avoid making things more difficult for an elderly person.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Domestika es una estafa. No le deseo a nadie lo mismo que me ha sucedido. NO COMPREN NINGÚN CURSO.

Domestika is a scam. I wouldn’t wish what happened to me on anyone. DO NOT BUY ANY COURSE. When you purchase a course, the fine print also enrolls you in an annual subscription. After one month, they charge you more than $200 USD and refuse to refund it. No one responds, no one takes responsibility, they simply don’t care. They only want to take your money.
Signed up for a trial, did not use the service. Thought I had cancel they charged me nearly 400 USD and refused to refund any of it.
EDIT - I received no warning email, so the comment below is incorrect.
They can also see that I have not accessed or downloaded a single video, yet they refuse me a refund.
I used to love Domestika. I bought loads of courses over the years and when Plus came out, I subscribed immediately — around €80–€90 a year felt fair, even if I didn’t use every credit.
Then, out of nowhere, I was charged €312 for a renewal. I did not knowingly agree to paying that amount, and I did not receive a clear, explicit warning that my price would jump this much.
As an EU customer, this feels like it does not comply with EU consumer protection expectations around transparency and informed consent for significant subscription price increases. I contacted my bank and requested a chargeback.
What really disgusts me is the principle: if a company can quietly escalate an auto-renewal from “reasonable” to “absurd”, trust is gone. And if you’re not in the EU, you may not even have comparable protections or an easy chargeback route.
Please beware: check your Domestika Plus renewal price and your subscription settings — don’t assume it will stay near what you originally paid.
PS: I had my subscription for years! So there was no fine print or "clearly visible warning". This was an unannounced huge price increase!
Thousands of messages and Facebook groups exist about the scam by Domestika, and they keep replying with automated messages. Return the money you are taking from people. It won’t be long before your little shop shuts down.
They charged me €250 without any prior notice. All their messages are automated, and there is no other way to contact them. With a quick online search, I saw that there are thousands of similar cases every day involving DOMESTIKA. They are thieves. I will take legal action, and a class action lawsuit is also being prepared.
