I entered into a 6-month BASIC membership with DOORS under the impression that it would be a collaborative, value-driven partnership — one that supported and amplified emerging brands like mine. Sadly, that promise was not fulfilled. In the first four months, DOORS delivered only one performance report and posted just two social media mentions — far below what was discussed and expected. The communication was minimal, and the support felt more like a checkbox exercise than a meaningful effort to promote our brand. This was never meant to be a one-sided transaction. Yet, despite honoring our side of the agreement, we saw very little return in terms of visibility, engagement, or brand growth. What’s worse, being asked to pay a $300 cancellation fee — rather than being met with a constructive conversation about how to improve the partnership — makes it clear that DOORS is more focused on short-term revenue than genuinely helping the brands it claims to champion. If DOORS had acknowledged the shortcomings and shown any willingness to improve, I might have considered working with them again in the future. But instead, I’ve been left feeling unsupported and penalized for stepping away from a partnership that simply hasn’t delivered.I rarely write negative reviews, but I feel compelled to share this to help other new and upcoming brands make informed decisions. If you’re expecting hands-on support, transparency, or impactful promotion from DOORS, you may want to look elsewhere.
