I'm actually struggling to find the words to describe just how impressed I was by the service Collin provided for us today. It's not just that I called him early evening, and I'm now sat here the same evening with not only my own car fixed, but the DPF on another of our cars cleaned too (he only came out to do one!). My usual garage couldn't even look at the car for 2 weeks!! I was lucky, though, as we are fairly local to him and he'd just got back from another job - but it is still amazing in this day and age (especially as it didn't sound like he even had chance to have his dinner before he jumped in the van and came out to us!!). That was impressive enough, but he's a top guy too - knows a lot about cars (not just DPFs - he builds engines from scratch!), and can't do enough to help. Gave us a lot of invaluable advice - including how to reduce the chances of the DPF getting clogged up (which presumably means less business for him!!). He also explained everything he was doing, and other things his diagnostic equipment picked up on our cars - including things that weren't DPF related. He even plugged his diagnostic kit into our third car (that we need to sell) to see if he could tell us what the reasons for some niggling problems with that!!! And he was adamant we just needed to get in touch if we had any issues or questions. Even that doesn't do his service justice... . You just don't get service like that these days. All I can say is: if you have a diesel car, the engine light comes on and there's any chance it could be to do with the DPF.... call him if you're in the South West of England. You won't regret it!
