I am deeply disappointed with Dr. Assay due to their amateurish handling of sensitive data and the service's generally dubious impression.According to Dr. Assay's blog post on their own website (dated 15th of May 2024), they suffered an IT security breach where personal patient information (such as medication, name, and address) leaked to search engines Bing and DuckDuckGo and was thus made public.These security issues give me the impression that Dr. Assay is not operating its services with the technical competence required to provide e-health services. I expect e-health services to meet basic security standards by preventing my personal and medical data from leaking to public search engines, as this poses serious risks to patient privacy and security.I strongly advise against using their services, as there are better and more secure options available that prioritize and protect your personal information.
