On the 4th of December 2025, I underwent a tummy tuck and 360 liposuction through OP Dr Buğra İpek. The process from start to finish was pretty quick. I was admitted to hospital at 11:30am, had blood work and x-rays done, my consultation with my surgeon and was on the operating table by 1230pm woke up by 7pm roughly and began my recovery with two nights in hospital and the remainder recovery at the hotel until the 12th of December. Dr Buğra was very kind and understanding of my needs understanding that I just wanted all the excess skin removed from my stomach. As in 2020 I had bariatric sleeve surgery in Australia with a starting weight of 120kg and within the year after having the bariatric sleeve surgery weighing 55kgs, feeling I went to far I gained weight over two years to be a happy and comfortable 70kgs and have maintained that weight ever since. In may I engaged with his admin team to undergo a tummy tuck with 360 Lipo for that added peace of mind.From the time I met my surgeon to the time I left Turkey, I could not fault him at all he really did do an amazing job at removing all the excess skin and making my stomach look as normal as possible. After my hospital stay I was discharged and sent back to my hotel room with a nurse that attended daily to perform checkups every day , additional postop lymphatic massages and regular check-in from the admin team. On the 10th of December I was chauffeured back to the hospital to meet with Dr Buğra where he reassessed my stomach, cleaned my wounds and changed my tapes and then advised me of my at home recovery steps and if I ever had any issues or concerns I had free access to directly communicate with him. Dr. Bugra İPEK is a European board Certified Plastic Surgeon (FEBOPRAS). He started his medical education at Haccettepe University in 2009. He Participated in exchange programs in Portugal (2010) and Greece (2012) during his medical education. Completed his medical education in 2015 and started to work at S.B.U Ankara Diskapi Yildirim Beyazit Education and Research Hospital in 2016 as a resident in Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery Clinic. He participated in observership in New York University Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery clinic (2019) He finished residency in 2021. He is Appointed to Şanlıurfa Mehmet Akif İnan Education and Research Hospital as a specialist in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. And currently working in Vanity Aesthetic Surgery clinic in İstanbul since 2023.
He was awarded Young plastic surgeon award in 2017 in Balcan Plastic Surgery Congress, Belgrad.
