Dangerous and Negligent Care – Avoid This Surgeon. I had a tummy tuck surgery with Dr. Bugra Ipek on October 4th, and my experience was extremely dangerous. Before my flight back home, I informed him that I had chills, fever, and that my wound was open and leaking, but he dismissed my concerns.After returning home, I sent him pictures showing clear signs of infection, and his only advice was to continue antibiotics. Thankfully, I went to a hospital immediately instead of following his instructions. I had to undergo two additional surgeries to drain 5 liters of infected fluid, and I now require a wound vac to recover.Dr. Ipek’s negligence put my life at serious risk. He and his team appear to care more about money than patient safety. I strongly warn anyone considering surgery with him to reconsider.

Dr. Bugra İPEK is a European board Certified Plastic Surgeon (FEBOPRAS). He started his medical education at Haccettepe University in 2009. He Participated in exchange programs in Portugal (2010) and Greece (2012) during his medical education. Completed his medical education in 2015 and started to work at S.B.U Ankara Diskapi Yildirim Beyazit Education and Research Hospital in 2016 as a resident in Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery Clinic. He participated in observership in New York University Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery clinic (2019) He finished residency in 2021. He is Appointed to Şanlıurfa Mehmet Akif İnan Education and Research Hospital as a specialist in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. And currently working in Vanity Aesthetic Surgery clinic in İstanbul since 2023.
He was awarded Young plastic surgeon award in 2017 in Balcan Plastic Surgery Congress, Belgrad.
