I purchased a bracelet from Drippy, marketed as suitable for “constant and daily wear,” with assurances of water, heat, and sweat resistance, and a lifetime guarantee.
After a mere 15–20 wears, one of the welded links catastrophically failed. Drippy refused to examine the bracelet in person and dismissed my claim based solely on a photograph, absurdly asserting it was “normal wear.” Such conduct demonstrates a shocking disregard for the construction and integrity of their own product, and emphatically highlights their unreliability.
These claims are patently false, not mere opinion, and demand to be taken seriously. The company explicitly guarantees “constant and daily wear,” a promise that the bracelet should withstand everyday use without breakage or appreciable wear. That it failed after so few uses is utterly ludicrous and stands in direct contradiction to all marketing and assurances.
A professional goldsmith and watchmaker personally examined the bracelet and confirmed that such a break could only occur if the item were constructed poorly or from inferior materials. The weld had encroached upon an adjacent link, causing the failure as the links moved, and this defect is repeated throughout the bracelet.
Not only is this wholly unacceptable and absurd in terms of quality, it is entirely indicative of non-existent craftsmanship. Drippy does not deliver products even remotely consistent with the standards they advertise, and they will not accept any responsibility for their failings. Their sole interest lies in dismissing the customer rather than examining, rectifying, or acknowledging the defect, showing a complete lack of care for either the product or the purchaser.
Their offer of a 20% discount toward a replacement is meaningless and frankly insulting. A product advertised for daily and constant wear should never fail after so few uses. I have personally seen €5 children’s bracelets endure far greater stress without issue.
Drippy’s marketing is false, their quality control abysmal, and their handling of legitimate claims utterly unprofessional. Their practices emphatically underscore their unreliability and inferiority as a company. I cannot, under any circumstances, recommend Drippy.
