Dr Somji has been my go-to doctor for Botox treatments for many years. The complimentary follow-up appointments he provides have previously been essential in maintaining consistent results and in managing the migraines I had suffered from.However, on the last two occasions, the treatment has not been effective for the full 12-week period it is expected to last. I did raise this at the time, but I did not feel that my concerns were fully acknowledged.While I understand that some patients may choose to have treatment more frequently, I am not in a position to do so. I reasonably expect a £400 treatment to deliver results for the anticipated 12 weeks. I also appreciate that individual responses to Botox can vary. That said, there are different brands and approaches available, and I believe it is appropriate to explore alternative options or adjustments when results are not as expected.As a loyal client over many years, I have not previously questioned outcomes when treatments such as under-eye filler or hydrafacial did not meet expectations. However, given the financial commitment involved — particularly during a challenging cost-of-living period — I am disappointed by this experience. Having placed my trust in a respected doctor & surgeon, I had hoped for a more collaborative approach to resolving the issue.I value the professional relationship we had and would welcome the opportunity to discuss how this could be addressed constructively going forward.
