I recently had a microneedling treatment with Dr Thornton, something I’ve been wanting to try for a long time, and I’m so glad I finally took the leap. I’m already really happy with the results.
The studio is lovely… super cute, clean and conveniently located in the centre of Henley, which makes it really easy to get to.
Before the treatment, Dr Thornton took the time to thoroughly explain the process and talk me through what to expect both during the session and with aftercare. This made me feel completely at ease and confident going in.
I know everyone’s skin reacts differently, but I had a morning appointment and by the evening, most of the redness had already calmed down. By the next morning, not only could I see a visible difference, but my skin also felt noticeably smoother. (My cheeks were still slightly red but not much at all).
After just one session, I even had people complimenting me, which was such a nice bonus! I’m really excited to see the results after my second and third sessions.
The treatment itself didn’t hurt for me, just a little sensitivity on my upper lip, but overall I actually found it quite therapeutic.
