If you're deciding between Drumeo and DBO Academy, go with DBO! I've tried both, and DBO has taken my drumming to a whole new level, and at the pace I was hoping for. Gabe is incredibly articulate in breaking down material in a way that’s both visually clear and easy to understand. Don't get me wrong, the lessons can be very challenging, which is actually what I love most about DBO. Without that challenge, I wouldn’t be growing at the rate I am now. We’re so lucky to have a community built by someone so passionate about his craft and generous with his knowledge. No gatekeeping here, just honest, inspired teaching. Thanks for all that you do, Gabe!!

Fun, easy to follow, engaging 10/10

I look forward to Gabe’s lessons every day. Super easy to follow and I like the consistency of always learning from the same teacher. The video edits keep the classes dynamic and the short lengths of each keep me feeling like I’m accomplishing something. The site never feels overwhelming. Tons of value for the cost. 10/10 big recommend.

I love it on DBO

Using DBO is the best decision I’ve made!

Using DBO has been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Gabe is amazing at teaching the drums. He has a perfectly setup lesson plan that teaches you what you need to know when you need to know it! The beat mapper tool is also amazing as it helps so much when you need to hear what a groove, beat, fill, and anything else should sound like! 10/10 best drum lessons online!
