Sunday 18th January 2026 was my first day trading at 'Duck Pond Ruislip', and what a fantastic start! I had a wonderful day with many interested customers, making it a profitable first day. The atmosphere is great, other smallholders are super friendly and helpful, and the central craft and eating area is a brilliant idea. As a music lover, the background music was a real treat on Sunday, with some great tracks.I feel like I've finally found a market for artisans, where customers are passionate about craft and supporting local, small businesses. Sustainability is important to me, and it's great to work with like-minded people who also consider the planet as part of their craft. The Barn is a gorgeous, historic, well-maintained wooden building, and I felt privileged to trade there. The management are super friendly, very encouraging and engaging. I have to say, from application to my first day of trade, was extremely well managed, well organised, informative and I had all the information I needed to minimise those ‘first day-trade’ stresses and anxieties. If you're an artisan wondering where to sell your handcrafted products, Duck Pond Ruislip just might be a wonderful location for you too.Deborah
