I have an (older) Sony CyberShot DSC-50. In planning an upcoming family trip I went online to look for replacement batteries. I found inexpensive batteries at $7.99-$11.99 from multiple vendors with 1 yr. warranties. But, I also found a Duracell battery at duracelldirect.com for $32.99 with a 3 yr. warranty. Hmmm. The non-Duracell batteries had questionalbe reviews and a 1 yr. warranty. The Duracell battery had superior reviews (only 2 but both 5 Stars) and a 3 yr. warranty backed by a U.S. company. I went with Duracell.
