Us peasants NEED our tax return. We have cars to fix, clothes to be bought, animals to vet, etc. So you go to a trusted tax service that I seen to remember being free at one point but whatever. I used them last year, no problems. This year...let me tell you.● They charge 39.99 to take their fees out of your return.● Once you send your return in they basically wash their hands of you. Customer service is a joke. They consistently refer you to the 3rd party company. Greendot.● They will not give you a straight answer on anything. Again referring you to the other company. ● For me, they claimed that my thrice checked banking information was wrong. Took FOREVER to figure out what was going on with my state return (first return accepted). Then when I got it there was $150 and some change missing. The total with fees was $119/change. Where did the other $30 go? Which brings me to my final and most irritating bullsh*t complaint...● They CHARGE $30 to send you a paper check!! They want your information to be wrong. I am telling you that I made absolutely 100% sure that my information was correct....that's how I get my money! Why would I want it to be wrong?!? They made $60 off me for claiming by bank info was wrong. $30/per check!! When I called to find out wth they told me it was too late that they were printing my check and that it would be mailed the following day. ●Lastly, they have all contact information. Email, phone, address. They could not be bothered to have any communication about anything relating to your taxes and/or return. After all was said and done, I paid over $200 to have them do my taxes. I will NEVER use this service again. I will tell everyone who asks, do NOT use e-file!! Money greedy, non-communication, dirty company. Never again!!!!!!
