When the loan paperwork was written up, they included a Roadside Assistance Policy $250+ and a Life Insurance Policy for $20 which they coerced me to keep. The Roadside Policy, after it was already included, they said iboth policies could not be removed that day. They would not remove Life Insurance & said it was only $20. I asked if it was a $20 monthly fee and they responded it was a 1-time payment. I told them that I have Premium AAA Roadside Assistance with my car insurance for half as much. They said I could come back next day for a refund check on Roadside Assistance policy. Their offers drive up the price of the loan. They rush the process. They know people are desperate so they use coercion tactics if you ask questions. I commented that their interest rates are very high. They responded that they were less than online offers. I called for a payoff 2 times on same day & cost went up. That's called "nickel & diming" people. I would not advise. anyone to use these types of loans. A 2k loan could cost you 1.5k in interest payments over the loan term. You pay most of the first payments in interest. Additionally, the loan includes the extra costs of add-ons that increases interest are not required. I did not get an explanation of policies nor was I given a copy of either policy. For me, this was a sobering experience. AI gives great advice on these types of loans.
