Sold an item on Ebay UK, sadly turned out it was "available internationally" and was purchased by a German. He then objected to the cost of tracked delivery on the Ebay system. I went to the trouble of getting Royal Mail postage rates with and without tracking. He asked me to invoice him with the non tracking [cheap]option. He paid that, ebay/paypal held payment. It was slow to arrive, probably due to covid. He asked ebay for his money back. They were initially going to pay him, I appealed and was informed I won my appeal and would get paid. Two months later, and several complaints, still no money despite having three written responses from ebay Germany confirming that I would be paid. Latest response now says I will not be paid. I have provided proof of postage. Whole episode totally discraceful, would strongly advise any UK seller to alter their selling settings to UK only and refuse to send goods to Germany.
