I purchased an Alienware M18 R2 laptop from seller "mze-finds" for $1,724 on March 18, 2026.
I clearly told the seller I only had a 5-hour window in San Diego on Saturday, March 21 before returning to Mexico for two weeks, and that Saturday delivery was critical. The seller repeatedly promised Priority Mail delivery on Saturday if I bought immediately.
From the exact moment the seller shipped the item, tracking showed Monday, March 23 as the delivery date. The seller knew this but continued to claim it would arrive on Saturday.
When I returned to San Diego on April 4, I did not even open the box. I immediately applied the seller’s return label and shipped the laptop back undamaged.
Despite this, the seller only refunded $862 and is still withholding $800 as an unfair "seller deduction" fee.
eBay sided with the seller and removed my previous feedback. This feels like a clear case of a seller making a false delivery promise and then profiting from it.
Buyers should be extremely cautious with this seller. eBay’s buyer protection failed me here.
