Since May 2024 I have had a yellow 5 litre Ecofiltro. I did a lot of research to find the most natural, plastic free and best filter available and the Ecofiltro was the answer. It’s a nice addition to the kitchen with the colour and doesn’t take up too much space. For the first week I didn’t like the taste of the water, now it’s my favourite and I miss it when I am away! I am waiting to buy a 20l version because it’s not really 5l which can be used at a time. It’s slow to filter compared to other products, but that means it’s actually filtering, doing its job and not just passing through.I also like that it does not need to be cleaned that often and there’s no waste once the filter is redundant.Customer service is very fast to respond and always answer my queries clearly and in a friendly manner.Disadvantages:1. The 5l capacity provides me with around 1.5litres in the morning once I top it up at night, then only bits throughout the day, so I just use it for drinking. I need a bigger capacity to be able to use for cooking.2. The wooden stand went mouldy and rotted, so I bought a different stand. As the shape is quite generic to other water dispensers, other stands are quite easy to find.Im extremely pleased with the product, so much so that I want a bigger version!
