I bought a the big filter replacing my Berkey filter that I've been using for 5+ years. I wanted to make less waste and seeing that this filter item is compostable I gave it a try. But the filter MOULDED, once within a period of maybe 3 months and once within a period of a couple of weeks!! A moulded filter is the last thing you want to be drinking your water from. It's such a pity.. but after this experience I wouldn't recommend it to a soul.
