The house survey was conducted well, but it would have been improved by using our actual energy consumption figures. The report was disappointing, as it grouped recommendations into one stage without breaking down individual components. The estimated cost was significantly higher than what we indicated we were willing to pay. There were also inconsistencies, such as the energy loss figure being the same as the estimate for our woodburner usage. While the report highlighted the need for underfloor insulation, it was lacking in other useful insights.
