We purchased the Compostable Sugarcane Square Plates for a large food & wine tasting event at my church. Each restaurant table had a stack of the plates at their serving tables, so they held everything from pasta with sauce to sandwiches, asian pork dumplings with sauce, tuna tartar, cake, cheese & crackers and bread. They measure 6" rim to rim and 4" in the inner "bowl" of the plate. THEY WERE AWESOME. Very sturdy, a nice bright white, and the perfect size for small appetizer portions or desserts, or perhaps a small salad. They are PERFECT for standing and holding -- very stiff and a nice size. No leaking, weakening, bending. And I felt great about not throwing away 1,000 plastic plates -- which also would have been much heavier than these plates, which despite their strength are light as air. You can search Hi and Low (Trust me, I did) but these plates are a great price, great value and great choice. They arrived very promptly and Ecolipak's service team could not have been more responsive as I needed to change my order on other items. Side note: had a catered event at my home 3 weeks ago, and the caterer showed up with the same plates I had ordered, so I am delighted to have EXTRA for the family to use. I am a very happy customer.
