We got an email alert from VISA about a charge from Ecomguard.co for $109.97. We had not done business with this company and didn't know what it was. VISA agent said it possibly came from a pop-up ad while we were browsing on a sketchy shoping site verniershop.com, which also posted a charge for $109.97 on our VISA account. VISA declined both charges and cancelled our card. This was a big pain because we have to wait three days for a new card during Christmas shopping season.
