I purchased this paint because they claimed Non-Toxic, No odor and Zero VOC. I have a 33 year old macaw (parrot) so it was extremely important for her that there were no fumes in the house. I read all the documentation and am happy to report that it is extremely low odor. I used three different colors in the room directly behind my bird's cage. There was no odor in the room where she was and I didn't smell the paint at all anywhere other than the room where we were painting. As I said, it was a very faint odor, no headaches!
The application went very well. No dripping; no mess. The paint is thicker than 'normal' paint and went on the walls easily. The two dark colors had me a little worried on the first coat, but the second coat covered everything and looks beautiful. I would recommend this paint for anyone painting any interior areas. I'm sure the exterior paint would be great also, but I have not tried it.
Clean up was easy with soap and water. I would highly recommend this paint. There was one minor thing I noticed. The size of the can is a bit larger than a normal paint can so the plastic lids to pour paint, etc., don't snap on the Ecos paint can like they do other cans. However, I was able to get mine to work for what I needed and the benefits of this paint far outweigh this small issue.
