I had never heard of Gracie Jiu-Jitsu till I met my fiance, let me tell you he wouldn’t be who he is today without EKBJJ, that sanctuary is a heaven to him mentally and physically he is an different person without it. I began to become curious to what Gracie Jiu-Jitsu at EKBJJ was myself, and upon having a couple of lessons from my fiancee I fell in love with it myself, I found that the mindset that he has been taught by Professor Eddie Kone is unreal. It has even helped me to have a more balanced life myself.With that said, I have spoken to Professor Kone on the phone multiple times and he couldn’t do anymore to make me as a female practitioner feel welcome and protected and he is a pleasure to spend time with. EKBJJ is more than an academy, it is a way of life that I cannot wait to be more involved in when my time allows as I genuinely believe in the message and cause!

In March 2002, the First Eddie Kone Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Academy opened in London UK.
