Review Time
First I ordered this product believing it was a US company. Next I find out they aren't. China product. False advertising. Next I find out i have a monthly subscription which I didn't sign up for. Next I can't cancel the subscription. Customer service is non existent. Tell you they will send you a link that never arrives. Stay away from this group of crooks. I could say more but it might be counterproductive.
They charge me for $34.98 on my credit card for garlic supplement I did not order. When I email them to complain [because they don't have a phone number] they said I was on automatic monthly billing, which they said I should have unchecked the monthly billing box at the end of the order. I did not see no box saying that. Very sneaky company. Anyway they said they would remove the recurring monthly order, but they will not cancel the order I didn't order and will ship it to me. I should have done my homework first on this company. I won't make another mistake like this again. Very unscrupulous company. Beware!
Just as another reviewer said, this company signed me up for a monthly subscription I didn't ask for. I paid with PayPal so I was able to cancel the payments thru Paypal. The website says you can easily return product for refund. PayPal has a phone number for them, it was fake. The number goes to a fax machine in Washington DC. In addition, with their supposed special discount I paid $80 for four bags of 30 softgels. I then found that Amazon sells bags of 300 Elare brand softgels for only $20!Don't trust this company with your money AND who knows what's really in their softgels...BEWARE, they are a scam.
This online store is a scam. They don't tell you that you can't cancel your order until the order has been made. I ordered something. It came back as a subscription. The website made it look like I ordered only one bag of aged garlic. I placed an order. Cancelled immediately when the system stated I had started a subscription. I went back to the site. (Sure enough it looks like I would order one bag of the product.) One minute later I get notification the order is cancelled. The customer service rep stated it was cancelled. Then the next thing I know is the order is on its way. Email traffic goes on for a day...and still going on as a few minutes ago. Telling me they have no control of the system. The order can't be cancelled even though their system says is has been cancelled. Therefore, the system doesn't accurately state what the situation is when it's telling me the order is cancelled when in reality it's not. So, Elare is a business that has no control of. their ordering system. It is a company full of contradictions....DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY!!! If anyone wants the email traffic and timeline to the conversation had with this company, please email me and I'll send it to you for your own assessment. Thanks!
I ordered this product because I have high blood pressure and taking blood pressure medicine for it. At the two week Mark I have not seen any improvement whatsoever and ask for a refund. I had taken the three packages of aged garlic that they sent me because it had very little in each package and put them all in one package assuming it would work like they said it would. After contacting them, they said to continue to take it and see what happens which I did and I have finished all of the product I had and actually started taking two at a time to see if it would help. It did not and my blood pressure never went down. I have requested a refund which they refuse to send me and they stated it was a 30 day money back guarantee which I contacted them in 2 weeks and asked for a refund which they never sent me. This company is fraudulent and should not be used. Total SCAM!
