I had a great experience fixing my theme after I upgraded to DIVI5, if there is really such a thing. Anytime you have issues after an upgrade it is tough. It took me a week to find the issues as it was on pages that I normally don't visit often. The background turned black, like I had a dark theme on. What was confusing is it was only on 3 pages that I didn't use the DIVI Builder on and just used WordPress Blocks. I did all the normal troubleshooting. Turning off plugins and activating them, etc. Checked all the CSS to see if any was added. Nothing. I even went as far as to clearing all browser, server side cache and using incognito mode on top of the other things. Nothing changed. I went in and checked the background options in the Theme Customizer. Cleared all of it and it didn't work. I cleared all cache again just to be sure... I went thru the AI bot to help to start with as many times that is enough. Nothing changed so they hooked me up with Ravindra and he replied in about 30 minutes. He had it fixed almost immediately. He cleared the background cache and it fixed the problem. He must have been holding his mouth right. Boy am I glad he did get it fixed as I was ready to pull my hair out.
