2ND UPDATE 10/2/25: I have been ghosted by B. He is not answering my texts any longer. Hasn’t responded since 9/18. Bad business practice. Whether a patron is happy or not, issues need to be dealt with. NO EXCUSES! Please do NOT use this company. They will scam you out of $. They did NOTHING for us and made $1800! Please read the negative reviews. They are all extremely accurate. UPDATE 9/18/25: In a text from B on 9/12/25, I was told they weren’t able to offer a full refund as we were not within the cancellation window (hard to be within the 72 hr. cancellation period when we’re quoted $4412 in July and then almost triple the price just 2 days before they were scheduled come). He said he can potentially offer a refund of up to $400. I again explained it was tough to cancel when you’re quoted one price in July and another just 2 days before scheduled for pick up. I told him $400 was not enough compensation and asked if they could go 1/2 at $900. He said he’d talk to billing. On Monday, 9/15/25, I texted again, “any news?” NOTHING. On Tuesday, 9/16/25, I texted “Hi B. Were you able to speak with billing?” NOTHING. Today, 9/18/25, I texted B “Hello!”. He responded “Hi sorry it’s taking a while we are super backed up.” I responded: “While I certainly understand that, you’d think your company would like to take care of complaints/concerns in a more timely manner regardless of how busy they are.” B’s response: “Your negative review is definitely not going to help in getting a refund, it actually will delay it more.” My response: “Well, I can certainly change my negative review once/if this is taken care of.” I haven’t received another response from B yet. Listen, if this company’s tactics are to threaten people who write a bad review, this is proof that people should stay away from them. They did absolutely nothing for us and made $1800. We are just wanting our $1800 back since, again, we were quoted $4412 in July and 2 days before they were scheduled to come, were quoted almost triple the $. Not fair to us in any way, shape or form. When, and IF this is taken care of, I will update my review. I will not be bullied into deleting or changing my review until this company does the right thing by us in giving us back our deposit.My husband booked our cross country move as we were given a quote of $4412. Our deposit was based on the $4412 quote, so we paid $1800 via electronic check. Our bank flagged this and stopped payment, not once, but twice, both times in which we immediately contacted B to make it right. On 8/21/25, 2 days before they were scheduled to come, Mandy contacted my husband & said it would cost almost $13,000, which is 3 times of what we have a written quote for. We immediately cancelled and were fortunate enough to get a 26’ UHaul and a car hauler for our scheduled 8/23/25 move. We have been texting with B asking to get our $1800 back due to the outrageous price M quoted us just 2 days before they were to come. We keep getting the run around about how busy they are coming out of moving season. We have been more than patient with B, and P, the Mgr. of Operations. There was no way we could pay almost $13,000 2 days before they were scheduled to come when we were quoted $4412.00. We are just asking for our $1800 deposit back since we were so open & honest about making sure it finally went thru our bank.
