Wow... They did spend a lot of money on advertising and marketing, but the actual experience of being on Elite cupid for three days were horrible. The moment I signed up for the site, I paid the fees and placed in my criteria... most of my criteria was open to anything. My biggest non negotiation was the the person Id be interested in would be within 100km.. that's pretty generous to commute an hour away to see someone you would be interested in...Where this website, the executives, and the customer service fail miserably, is that their algorithm seems to wanna calculate and match you with people on the other side of the planet. I live in Canada... I have specifically requested people within 100km of my habitation location... why are people from New Zealand, Romania, Tanzania and all other parts of the world, reaching out... why would they be looking up my profile instead of people even at least in my own country... why? well it very simple... the website is a sham. terrible... oh you may have read about the refund policy? don't bother... My only responses I've sent out were to the women in complete foreign countries, and it was me informing them that I would not be interested in people outside my 100km radius.. that's me being a gentlemen and not leaving someones message unanswered. Its called being considerate. Something the executives of elite cupid should learn.After realizing that there are hardly anyone on this site, and most likely the ones that are on, are paid employees to send out a message so that you may feel desired, or they are bots... I decided to take up their "refund policy". Their response to me was that I should expand my search criteria and that seeing I used the ability of their site... (to reply back to people on the other side of the world, to simply inform them I do not have an interest in anyone outside my radius) they said I am not eligible of the refund. After expressing my dis satisfaction of their website, and also explaining that this is just going to encourage me to write an honest review of their site... they chose to ignore my second attempt of requesting a refund. Their response was to expand my search criteria ( keep in mind it was expended already to my undesired radius... the second time) but they feel that your soulmate must be thousands of miles away.Take my true an honest review to heart... stay away from this website... it is not in the top 5 dating apps, or it isn't there legitimately anyway... save you money... I went on two other dating sites on the same day after this experience, and within 12 hrs, I was already communicating with multiple women within my radius and my criteria. Do not believe their guarantees.. do not believe in their refund policies... do not believe in their success stories.. there may be some, I can't take that away from anyone... but I can probably guess most of them are fabricated ... Here's the message to the executives/managers/customer service... as I stated before keep the three months of the fee.. because you have lost me, the people that I will speak to, and the thousands of people that will see the review.
