I recently enrolled in online beauty courses with Elizabeth Sands as a complete beginner with no prior experience. I was really hopeful, especially as the courses are described as being suitable for beginners.Unfortunately, this wasn’t my personal experience. I felt the content lacked in-depth theory and foundational explanation, which is something I believe true beginners really need. Much of the material felt like information that is already widely available for free on platforms like TikTok, rather than structured professional training.I also found the video quality to be lower than expected for a paid course, which made it harder to stay engaged. Overall, I didn’t feel I was gaining the level of knowledge or confidence I was hoping for.I haven’t contacted the company regarding advice or a refund, as I decided instead to invest in face-to-face training with a reputable local salon, which I personally feel will better suit a beginner learning style.This is just my honest experience as someone new to the industry. Others may have a different experience, but for beginners looking for strong theoretical foundations and structured support, I personally wouldn’t recommend this course. I've given 2 stars, as I decided not to reach out to the company for resolution.
