My tenant who is in arrears of £24k (Gratwick is his surname avoid at all costs) arranged for an EPC through an assessor certified by Elmhurst energy to avoid paying rent. The assessor downgraded the property to an F even though the property had a valid E certificate I supplied the evidence to the assessor and Elmhurst but as the assessor didn’t respond they suspended him but REFUSE to take down this invalid certificate. There final response was ‘get another one’They are supposed to be an accreditation service but really aren’t bothered. Use an assessor that in not accredited by Elmhurst energy.
