EMaC’s “lifetime warranty” is misleading.I was told to obtain a diagnostic and did so at my own cost. The garage involved had previously been recommended by EMaC for servicing, but could not carry out the repair identified.EMaC then required a second diagnostic at another garage costing three times more, refusing to confirm whether the issue is even covered until this is done. The next appointment is 20 days away, leaving me with no car and no answer on coverage.Any reimbursement would only be considered after repairs and only if EMaC later decides it’s covered. Do not buy this cover. You’d be better off putting the £60 a month into a savings pot and using it when needed.
