Had a positive experience with Bill Lamara based near Glasgow in sorting out two mortgages and life insurance. Unfortunately, there was a miscommunication that has resulted in my previous life insurance from my first mortgage continuing for over a year, while I paid the new policy. When I noticed this and brought it to their attention, I was told essentially it was on me to cancel it, even though at the time of sorting everything out I was told 'there is nothing you need to do, everything will happen automatically.' I have been told they can offer no reimbursement for close to £400 lost as a result of this. Very disappointing and I would urge people to be careful of this.
