I purchased a thermosync hybrid (called luxe cooling on the invoice) mattress for my 80+ mother coming from from hospital to move in with me. On opening it, I was dismayed to see it was completely different construction from the same product I had purchased for myself in May and have been extremely happy with since. My mattress is pocket springs entirely encased in a high quality foams. This new product (same name, same price) is low quality foam on top of springs only held in place by the fabric of the pockets. No foam on the edges or underside. This gives no edge support and leaves the bottom of the springs and their pockets in full friction with the bed base. You can fully feel the springs through the baggy mattress cover on all sides except the top. The 'medium' mattress is spongy and sags, especially towards the edges. My mattress purchased in May is a very supportive edge to edge with a medium to firm feel. I honestly thought the mattress had been sent out of the factory half made. However customer support tells me this is the new design for the thermosync. How they are selling this I do not know.
