I suspect this was a duplicate of my original tag, but the company could not provide any proof of which vehicle(s) were linked to it, only threatening me with legal action. The entire experience was made worse by their website, which was nearly impossible to access. I managed to log in once, revealing that the old tag was inactive, but I haven't been able to access it again to gather evidence. I sincerely hope I never have to visit France again; I feel cheated.
