I bought over 100 Tommee tippee storage bags because the packaging said they worked universally with all breast pumps. Only in fine print does state that you have to buy the adapter separately. When realized I needed adapters, I tried to locate them by themselves, but was only able to find one that worked with my Ameda pump in a $40 kit that included a bunch of other stuff I didn’t need. I bought the kit though just so I could get the adapter. And there is only ONE adapter in each size. I don’t know why you would only provide one adapter in each size when women, generally speaking, have two breasts. No one wants to double their pumping time by only being able to pump one breast at a time. When I contacted Tommee Tippee asking where i could find an adapter pack by itself, it took them over a week, to figure out they don’t even carry that adapter anymore and recommended I go check eBay (because it’s highly sanitary to buy used items that consistently come into contact with other people’s bodily fluids online). As an added touch, customer service consistently butchered my name, even though I reiterated the correct spelling to them multiple times.Edited to respond to the response from TT:How does making the needed adapter that makes the product universal more difficult to obtain represent “better value”? Additionally, what is the logic in only providing 1 adapter in that package? Reiterating the point that women generally have 2 breasts, so why aren’t two of each adapter provided? The design of how this item is packaged seems intentional to force the customer to buy multiple bundles/kits, which only seems to benefit TT. I do not see how this strategy is helpful or useful to the customer. Even if someone had the correct number of adapters to start, what if this piece was lost or broken? They would have to buy a whole $40 kit to replace it, just to continue using this system. This does not make sense. Thank you for correcting my name. I do appreciate that.
