I contacted energiesolutions because I had been experiencing a problem with my ASHP system. The system is 3 years old and has been working perfectly for the first two and a half years. The system was showing an E912 fault, which I understand to be a flow switch problem.When contacted Energiesolutions stated they could certainly help me with the problem and the cost to diagnose would be 252.00 inc Vat. I arranged for Nigel to call and he spent an hour or so looking over the system but was unable to rectify the fault and at the same time, disconnected a thermostat which was left hanging by its cable. He then said he would provide a diagnosis and quotation to solve the problem.After several emails and nearly 3 weeks later I received the quotation for 5046.00 including Vat to repair the fault. This was for a system that had been working fine and only 3 years old?The quotation also stated: 'Whilst we are suggesting this workbe carried out we do not guarantee this work will resolve the current issues and will not be held liable.' I cannot believe that they are expecting me to pay over 5000.00 to fix a fault that they will then not take any responsibility for in the future. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY
