Laurence's detailed and efficient teaching methods helped me to get 9s in language and literature and boosted my confidence. Before I started lessons with him I thought that despite enjoying english i'd have to settle for grades 6/7 because of being dyslexic (especially in english language where I was predicted a 5), but the detailed and consistent feeback I was given each lesson helped me to clearly understand exactly what I needed to do to improve my writing. Laurence always made sure to check I fully understood the work and answered any questions I had in detail which meant I finished every lesson feeling really confident about the exams. I'm delighted to have gotten the grades I wanted in English thanks to Laurence's help and it's so great to now be confident about going into A level English literature after once finding english really overhwleming.
