Our son was working at Level 4 grade in his English Language GCSE at the start of year 10. We decided to get a private tutor on board to help him improve. Laurence worked with our son from the middle of year 10 up to the gcse’s in year 11. We were thrilled that our son achieved a grade 7 in his gcse. As we started the private tutoring sessions in year 10 it meant there was no pressure and it was a gradual solid improvement over time which we thought was a lot more helpful than a mad rush to improve too late in the day. A big thanks to Laurence for his patience and input with getting our son to ‘buy in’ to the process and get the best out of him.
