December 28th, 2025 I made reservation for a VA medical trip. On January 6th I set out from Williston North Dakota Airport with Mazada SUV rental, during my travel I noticed a heavy odor of meadow and contacted Williston ND Enterprise airport rental desk and reported my problem.
I was informed that I could replace the vehicle at any Enterprise rental office. I had made it to Kansas City mid - afternoon January 7th and called their office in the city and was informed to goto the airport location for a change out to another vehicle of the same size.
I arrived at the airport and received a changed out vehicle and sent on my way. In route to my destination I noticed right side rear fender trim wasn't secure onto the fender. the trim was continuously coming unclipped. In my return from my VA medical appointment as I was traveling in Iowa, the fender trim came off. I immediately called Enterprise and informed them of the matter.
In the month of March 3, 2026 I received a claim letter for $2,033.01 In no way am I responsible for this loss or vehicle damaged condition. I see this as a attempt to rob me for the damage from the previous users. I indeed contacted the rental company as a good consumer but in return their trying to stick me with the repair charges.
