I just recently completed a withdrawal. I had to wait a long time, but in the end the company honored the expectations they set in their FAQ precisely. They've been around a long time and apparently are as honorable as ever.During the wait, I did search to find if anyone else had reported their experience recently. I did find a post here on Trustpilot from someone that had a bad experience. I'm sorry things did not go so well for them, but decided I need to tell another side of things.I first found Entropia Universe in 2008. I believe it was already 5 years old by then. I played obsessively over the next couple few years. My favorite thing always was the real cash economy. I'd spend hours reviewing auction prices for in game commodities. I'd also hunt, mine, and craft (the main activities in the game) and would work hard to sell everything in the market to stretch my PED as far as possible. That was the real game within the game to me.But like every other game, eventually I got bored. I cashed out in 2011. I recall it took only a few weeks at that time, but I did get my withdrawal as promised.A few years later... 2014-2015 I played again. There were more planets and more things to do and I missed my old favorite game. There were also ways to buy shares in landholdings so I too could collect a little income from the activities of other players. (Equipment deteriorates over time. Ammo is expended when hunting. I think this is how company makes money.) Now there were even more things to buy and sell at auction. This time I did deposit more so I could buy stock. I also bought an in-game apartment. Unfortunately, I also had a family and a career and no longer could game for hours. So again, I stopped logging in; I stopped playing.This time, my in-game assets sat for nearly 10 years! I wondered if at some point inactive players were written off. I'd log in every now and then to see if my presence was still valid. I'd find dividends accruing on my stocks and the overall market still appeared alive and well. I'd always tell myself that I'd start playing again, so I'd just let it sit.Then at the end of 2024 I decided it was time to take the time and cash out. I needed to sell everything I'd acquired and that took more than a week. When I submitted my withdrawal request, I received a notice that it would take up to 50 business days. It included an explanation that the company was doing everything it could to protect against fraud and that after such a long period, most fraud would be reported by then. I did however hope it wouldn't really take that long.Yes, it was a painful wait. And yes, at times I worried that I'd left my money in the game too long. Then on exactly the 50th business day, I got the email telling me my withdrawal request had been committed and I should receive it soon. This morning the money was in my bank!!!Entropia Universe is still solid all these years later. I enjoyed the time I spent participating and now I want the world to know these people are legitimate and true to their word!
