RatingI had mixed experiences using this product. The two-component (2K) formula is a bit cumbersome to handle, and overall the paint did not perform as well as similar, much more affordable floor paints.Coverage and coverageBased on the videos presented by the manufacturer, I expected better coverage, but in reality, the coverage is average. The coverage is roughly in line with the data in the description, but it also falls short of my expectations: I needed about one and a half times more paint than planned.Surface and aestheticsBased on the pictures, I expected a satin or semi-matte surface, but instead I got a coating with an extremely super-matte effect. This surface gets dirty quickly and is vulnerable: any dark plastic or metal object leaves a mark on it that cannot be removed afterwards. On a white surface, all dust and lint become immediately visible.Experiences of useApplying the paint in summer temperatures of around 30 °C was particularly difficult, as the mixture sets quickly. The rollers also quickly deteriorated – they lasted on average one or two washes, so more were needed, which further increased the costs.Due to the matte surface, I had to use varnish afterwards, which meant additional expenses. I could no longer afford Epodex's own varnish, so I chose a floor varnish from another manufacturer.Durability and value for moneyI cannot comment on the long-term durability (for example, the degree of yellowing), this will only become clear over time. Overall, however, the price-value ratio of the product is not convincing: due to the high price, the difficult use and the quickly dirty surface, it did not bring the expected quality.SummaryBased on my own experience, I do not recommend the product. The cost and the result are not in good proportion to each other in terms of work and time required. Cheaper products require fewer compromises than this more expensive paint.
