We bought the ‘Bronze Red’ metallic paint effect for a feature wall. Product comes from Germany, but as the website says, it arrived within three business days, so that was a great start. Videos on the website are very easy to follow and understand. I was initially worried that the 1kg pack would not be sufficient to cover our large wall but was pleasantly surprised that we had more than enough. The primer coat goes on easily and covers well. The top, metallic, coat was a little hit and miss in terms of effect but we just kept going and now feel the finish is just what we wanted. I think it’s worth adding a few tips; Firstly, make sure you prep the walls well and mask EVERYTHING as if you go too fast on the primer it will go everywhere. Look at you tube for how to get sharp/straight edges at the adjoining wall. We added a little water to the small containers and gave it a good shake to ensure we had all the product and to help with coverage. The powdered metal is very dusty so make sure you are working on sheets/protection. When applying the top coat use short strokes, as per the video, and don’t worry about going over the same areas. Step back from your work and take it all in, then make adjustments to the coats ie add more or cover more areas. Overall you won’t be disappointed and what might seem expensive is actually a very good value product.
