I am extremely dissatisfied with my experience at EsteWorld, particularly the lack of care, poor aftercare support, and unacceptable handling of my concerns following breast augmentation surgery.After my procedure, I experienced severe pain and clear signs of infection, including abnormal symptoms that I repeatedly reported to the aftercare team with messages and photos. Despite explaining my concerns, I experienced significant delays in responses and was repeatedly told that my symptoms were “normal” and that I did not need to seek hospital treatment.As my condition worsened and I continued to receive little to no support, I made the decision to seek medical help myself. I was diagnosed with a serious infection requiring urgent hospital treatment, including several days of antibiotic infusions and ongoing monitoring. I was informed by medical professionals that if I had followed the clinic’s advice and delayed treatment further, the infection could have developed into sepsis and become life-threatening.Communication from the clinic only became urgent once they became aware of the seriousness of my condition, which raised serious concerns about whether patient wellbeing or reputation was the priority.In addition to the medical complications, I experienced unacceptable delays in receiving a refund for a procedure that was not fully completed. Despite being told the refund would be processed within weeks, I had to repeatedly chase the clinic for nearly two months and was given conflicting information before the payment was finally made.I have since attempted to raise a formal complaint through email, however the clinic has failed to properly address my concerns in writing and is now insisting on a video call instead of responding directly to my emails. I expect clear written communication and accountability regarding a matter involving my health and safety.This entire experience caused significant physical and emotional distress and has greatly impacted my trust in the clinic’s duty of care. Proper aftercare, clear communication, and patient safety should be the highest priority for any medical provider, and unfortunately this was not my experience.I strongly urge the clinic to review and improve its aftercare procedures, communication standards, and complaint handling processes so that other patients do not experience the same situation
