UPDATE 26th January - Essex and Suffolk Water contacted me within a week of my complaint in order to rectify the problem. They were very apologetic and the person dealing with the complaint was very helpful. I appreciate the timeliness and the help of those involved in customer services. Just received a bill from Anglian Water for our sewage. It is enormous. Apparently because Essex and Suffolk Water did not read our meter for three years and estimated, they finally read it last January 2021 and only now a year later have adjusted the readings. Which means we are now stuck with an enormous bill! Shocking service. Why did they not read it it for 3 years when it is completely accessible at the front of our property and then when you do take a reading knowing it was wrong then take a further year to notify Anglian Water. I will be contacting Ofwat.
