Yesterday received note through letterbox saying that my meter had been updated to a smart meter. Today received letter saying in next 2 weeks will be installing smart water meter. In addition, it says can our free mobile app. This is for daily, weekly or monthly readings, view bills and make payments. I do not have a smartphone so absolutely no use whatever to me. No advance warning given. So why have I not seen any information about this in the press or anywhere else. I will now have to phone them to make sure I get paper bills. How long before they prevent you from having paper bills!!!!!
