On February 7th I ordered a range of products offered by Manscaped EU on their website which was advertised as an exclusive offer. After carrying out a number of checks and confirming the company is legitimate, I went ahead and placed the order as the checkout page states that Input Tax & Customs Duty are Included. The order was successfully placed and payment completed through PayPal. My order was stopped in transit for over a week and I reached out to the company for an update, to which they have not replied. Subsequent attempts to contact the company were made, to no avail. A few days ago I received a notification from the customs office that my package was being held as fees were due, as this package had arrived from China. Note that the website at all times states shipping occurs from the UK, which is simply untruthful. At no point during checkout does the company advise that customs charges are due on delivery. As I am not prepared to pay these fees, I made further attempts to reach out to the company as they require a formal RMA request. Again, the company has not replied. The phone number supplied rings without ever connecting the call. I have now exhausted all ways of attempting to reach customer service for a resolution and my package will be returned within 13 days due to unpaid customs fees. A case is ongoing with PayPal for a full refund.A fraud report has been submitted to the competent authorities in California as well as the FTC.
