On my recent rental from Europcar in the UK I was invoiced and charged for an additional 2 days, they decided that I collected the vehicle 2 days before I actually did. My card was charged and it took over 3 weeks to return the funds to my account.The same rental also attempted to charge me for pre-existing damage that was "100% not there before I rented the vehicle", despite the damage being indicated on the rental agreement, they finally dropped the case when I provided photos and videos of the vehicle and the damage whilst the vehicle was at the collection depot. Do not trust Europcar, they will try and rob you and if you prove that they are in the wrong they will offer no more than an insincere apology for the inconvenience.
