I've never left a bad review for the response to a bad review before! The usual terrible experience that so many of you have described (Europcar rang us 2 hours before we were supposed to pick up the car from Morpeth station saying they don't do pick ups at stations! The 'solution', after much wrangling was a drop off at our hotel, incurring huge drop off fees which they failed to tell us about, but they already had our credit card details, so they just took the money without telling us). The result was we payed over £300 for a 3 day hire, which we had NOT signed up for. I got a generic response to my review (that looked good on the review page) - 'we're so sorry etc, contact customer services on this phone number (didn't work) or this email (bounced back) or via our website (hooked into a loop that there is no response to). So I am admitting defeat and am going to sign it off as a really bad customer experience in which I was cheated by Europcar. But as there is no option to respond to their 'helpful' response, I am leaving another review here. I'll probably get another 'we're so sorry etc' reply to this, but it goes nowhere, don't be fooled!I hate leaving bad reviews, but I am still feeling angry about this.
